Im back...

Recently ive joined a group on FB that stands up to bullying, and its actually run by a person who I wont name that used to be a 'jerk' in school but now he wants to change his future.

His motive for the group is to bring positive energy about. His words on how bullying are as follows: ( and quite amazing to me )

"The problem is it has a stigma to it (bullying) . The people involved don't want to discuss it because up to a certain age there exists "cool" and "not cool." It needs to be discussed in a completely open and not cheesy way. Someone in highschool might need to just hear "yea it sucks, highschool sucks sometimes, go away to college and find yourself, itll be fine."

I think this way is a great approach... because if we think we can STOP bullying, were nuts, its a function of youth, but to hear from someone encouraging words who has been through it, is a big help, for any victim. ANother statement from the owner is that bullying should not just be thought of with a perspective on just the bully or just the victim. But to indiscriminately approach the message of bullying as a lesson, that for example can be tought at school.

IM very impressed with this group and invite you all to join if you have ideas you want to volunteer on this thought and subject. I do occasionally. Keep in mind this group is in its begining faze and whether it helps 100 or even only 1 person, its presence on FB shows that there are people who care about bullying.

Ive been on adventures since I graduated college... Working with Autistic Kids, Overseeing a Senior Center, Going on Photo trips to the Greater NY area 3 times, going to religious lectures and Finding myself, losing myself and most recently finding myself again. I think Im ready to buckle down once again, seriously into a new job. Im looking to take a certification test to work as a Medical Assistant. After all I did graduate with a Medical Assistant diploma. We will see what happens.

G-d really laughs when we make plans. Its upto him what happens to us, and everything is connected. Just like all my jobs in the past reflect my heart, a career as a Medical Assistant could be good for me. I think I got it this time.

Havent added anything lately because Ive been busy with work. I actually work at a senior center now... started in July... and have a class teaching the camera to some of our clients. Today an elderly client in my class today blew my mind because she shared her pics with the class as an introduction for herself to the class, and the pics she took where amazing. When I say amazing, I mean her abilities and execution on locations, lighting and subjects... just from her travels and family... were mind blowing. She was a sweety and wasnt too caring for the compliments I gave her, and she was not very excited when I told her how much I loved her work ,but she was eager to show anyway... I think shes pleased enough for the both of us. Im just so lucky in this situation... for her to come to me for learning when she is already amazing...

Hey There! I have not been keeping up lately on account of me looking for work and not having time to do photos. But im BACK and serious now. I stacked up on some guides for photography and am studying how to use my Film SLR. Soon Im going to Central Park With my Photography partner from old days who has stayed with me through it all. We are gonna Try to make some magic happen.

Thats for now. But You guys will be seeing some new work. All ive done uptil now is Simple shots, with no concern for good equipment or professional techniques. Just P&S and me infront of the digital Canon Powershot, with some editing equipment that is very simple. And some music and pure surrender to my imagination. Im keeping the last Tools and going bigger with them. We will see how this works out. I hope Nothing gets in the way this time. But I do want to say thank you for viewing my blog and Next week I am bringin NEW pics from our trip. Wish me luck!

Over the weekend I went with Evo, my pal, to a parade where most of the participants walked for miles, sung, and showed thanks to their lord, Krishna! The men played the instruments, the elders clapped along, and the young girls danced in their colorful clothes, with their faces painted.

Stayed In and watched soccer today, was very hot outside. France lost to South Africa. Thats a big deal. France was an expected win, but was lacking, some believe because they fired their old coach and some of their best players are off the team this year. And Even though SA won, they dont go further to compete with Mexico in a bigger game, their score was too low for that, so its not very exciting.

Being bullied gave me compassion, getting good grades gives me knowledge, getting through insecurity couldnt have come at a better time. I got my very first business cards in the mail yesterday, and they look aawesome! I got it from Vista Print and it was free besides shipping and handling. Hey sorry no update in a while I was busy with work.

Today I went to get myself done up, just for confidence.

Sometimes its wierd to change yourself but for some reason people respect that. And maybe its not the change people respect, but the respect you have for yourself to just spruce yourself up and look better. I suggest it big time, dont change, just lift your spirit by doing something that makes you feel good. Photography, reading, cooking, cleaning...anything!

A store as welcoming as an unselfish mother.
The owner of this store was so sweet, it reminded me of my mom.
No, she wasnt maternal toward me, but open, to all customers and even bypassers, who notice her work.
And who couldnt!
To start, her window display surpassed my wildest dreams' making me pinch myself to see if I was awake...
An array of Alice and wonderland Dolls, ( they are BIG Tim Burton Fans, and he also is one of my inspirations)

This store had me at its name, ArtWorld, and as if the cheshire cat wasnt enough for me, grinning in all his exciting presence, with his glossy porcelin beady eyes and matted colorful stripes!
I went in and was teased by color, tickled by creativity and originality. Yes, this store was amazing!
The mango colored characterised sun painting was smirking at me, and the beautiful and Heart stopping images and objects throughout the store made time stop. I could have spent a day in there, just looking and observing, playing and being in the presence of such wonderful and odd yet enchanting dolls, paintings, furniture, and more! The impression I got from this store was of such appreciation and I was in awe that there was nothing snotty about the owner, who let me stay, and admire her store with my camera! Art is only art if it has admirers, and she must have known that. Smart enough to be an artist, I appreciated her as if A mother who is selfless.

a day with no spotlight.

A model i found on craigslist was supposed to arrive to my exclusive and highlhy anticipated foto shoot, today at 3, and no arrival. All day I was on my feet, staying in the mood and setting up ideas for the photoshoot with my very first model in my career as a photographer. But alas, The spotlight had no one to claim because my model didnt show. But I guess things like this always happen in the biz- many dissapointments, but I am not giving up. It will only make me stricter and more suitable for the life I want to lead which is one filled with angles to share with the world. Gotta be tough to get what you want. When using assistance, which is more professional and upscale, you must find dependable people. I need to accumulate some people to add to my business. Todays model was not ready for my spotlight.I hope I find someone who is, soon, because I would like to have a bulked out portfolio with many techniques and subjects and all the other stuff, to show off in order to get a job as a photographer. TO have something to show to my potential clients. As advised by one very dependable friend, I dont want to work for someone else, so I must search and gather for a good portfolo to fall back on when people consider me to do work for them. I will strive for this. Because I want to be a professional photographer, and I would love to do that for a living. The model today didnt take the spotlight, but I guess the spotlights on me, I will struggle to make it.

Photography is infinate and based on perspective. One subject can be shot in endless ways and mean many different things. Just as plentiful as people are, are as many meanings for pictures.

Pics can be taken from every angle and accord to every angle the photographer sees the object by.

This pic is angled to show the sillhoute of the tree against the colorful sky. It shows that the tree stands strong and the sky is ever changing.

Hello. Lately Ive been trying to decide if I should use models in my photography or not. I dont know if thats a way of getting better- experimenting on different subjects with different messages... beauty from nature or admiration from Human beings...

We are almost done editing the film Behind The Scenes of Help the World by Evobabee! So close! We have one more meeting with a few little cute kid and then we are done, will edit the rest( evos doing that part i just do behind scenes photography) and then it will go up for sale hopefully on Amazon.com, by summer!I Cant wait to see it, she uses alot of tricks with the video making( has great equipment) and its soooo not boring- when i watched what we have so far, I genuinly smiled the whole way through. Im so proud. I will let you guys know when the commercial for it goes up on youtube, I think you guys and girls who love making art and helping the world, will like it alot!

Old Christmas Eve, I would wait for the Train to Long Island with my parents, Usually just with my mom, and my dad would take the car and come later with the presents... I came back and wished it farewell. The school where all my problems started, Evo brought me back not too long ago, and we chose this site for our help the world meetings. I came to start anew, but the memories of going through the front door at 12 still make me cringe.

I want to remember Evo forever. ANd anytime I see nature, because she is very natural, I will think of her.

I just got back from taking photos. It was fun. Because I was with her, I was so happy and saw more beauty in everything! Its good to take pics with someone, I would reccomend, but your friend has to be patient with you and wait while you take pics. Hey! I havent posted in a few days, and in that time since, I got a new camera! Its not what I originally wanted- which was a professional slr camera, but it has alot of cool features.

So today I went around to test it out- Its great quality-Nikon is the best.

Today was a good time.

I always wanted to take good pics of flowers... they are so detailed in their creases and petals that in any enhancement I try to be as delicate as I can not to disturb the beautiful image of the flower.

The tree so high that when I look at its glory, Its so high in the sky it reaches the sun;)

Me and Evo went to a pet store. I hate that the dogs at the pet store see me and get excited as if ill take them home. They look at me and cry as I leave them there :(

But we had a sweet ending. Evo took a quarter and got a gumball. I could laugh with her as her tongue gets blue/orange/red/green... but if its yellow, that doesnt really show...

My fotos today do not tell a story, they just show photoshop enhancement of a pic and the drama it can create for a picture. My inspirations are Mad, Exotic, and and even scared. Can you tell which ones are which? Im glad I have photoshop, but I beleive as someone told me, whats in the picture is more important than the effects. And a good photographer can take anything and with their vision that comes from the heart, they can capture and create drama without anything like photoshop... What do you think?

Whata wonderful day yesterday Was! I had an interview for a job, and on the way i saw so many signs of summer! The signs of life are showing on trees, flowers are blooming. Yesterday me and Evo went to a lady with cat's house. She was very kind and had nice treats to welcome us. We talked about helping the world- her idea of how to help the world was very special and it boiled down to helping the world by starting with each individual, loving the self. She also expresses herself through her art which she sells and her art is very colorful and quite special, she described each piece as having seperate meanings, for seperate people, or in other words, whatever an individual finds they see in her art, starting with the design she creates. Today was heaven!
I went with Evo and her dad to a restaurant to interview ( for the Help the world video) these two genuine and kind earth lovers, like us, and it was great. Their shop is awesome, I will get the location and pics of it up once we edit and pull togethr all the parts and photos from the shoot, it was just LOVELY!
When i get the pics i encourage my friends to see the place and i will have something to prove to you guys through the photos i took- its not just to add to my portfolio, its to help them help people , and I will DEFEINATELY be going back, it was too amazing for words, like a little india with stores that had vishni statues and chai tea, for those of you who like that.

Check out your windows you guys, its a 'winter wonderland'! If only it was like this at X-mas!
I did my best to show you guys how it is out here- crazy! worse than the first snow storm which had more hype than this in the beginning! My mom got off from work but her office called the second she was about to head out, i thought it was a happy thing, she was pissed that she got all ready...

:fresh cold weather almost to snow- I have 20 dollars in my pocket and Austin street to myself for 2 hours.::

I went to Austin st today and let the atmosphere and its possibilities take me and play with me till the sky went dark. I love going out by myself- no one to rush you or make you see things you dont give a darn about- today was fun... i will remember the joys it brought me .

I love me mum soo and iz her birday! Who else sucks like me and forgot their mom's birthday>? Im the worst daughter in the world...

But she said I show her my love when I help her get groceries or make her din when im tired from work, even if its just for her, thats a mom guys, they dont forget that stuff!!!
Well, im off to make it upto her somehow, and thanks to Leah for reminding me about her birthday! :-o

Hey guys- i have a new trend- stand up for your friends!I once knew a girl who was in my school and was older than me, but was shy and couldnt communicate well because she was new to the country. ANYWAY one day i became her friend out of no where- i just saw her alone and saw she was approachable which made me want to be friend her. after that we sat on the bus togther on the way home from school everyday. One day, a guy on the bus was making fun of her, and I helped her out. I wasnt much of a cool kid myself so i was suprised when he stopped making fun of her, and thought i was making fun of him, which i was- who the %^&* has the nerve to make their pathetic selves look good by picking on helpless or shy people? Someone who deserves it back thats who.
ANyway, I saw her again years later and she is doing so well, im glad i was her friend other than picking on her. So please try to be kind to people instead of making fun, its just gonna hurt YOU in the end.
